The week is gone. We're not sure where it went, but we're positive that not much of it was spent sleeping. Cole was a wonderful sleeper, he was almost always good for 10-11 hours straight. Parker is his own boy.
Fall is finally coming. There were a couple of mornings this week where it was in the high 60's at 5am. Today is noticably cooler and there is a steady wind.
Cole and I went to the park this morning and hit the baseball. Cole's understanding of the sport is pretty amusing. He'll stand with the bat, and when you throw the ball past him, he throws the bat and then runs around. At no point is hitting the ball with the bat part of the game, but throwing the ball is essential. Mindy is at work this morning, and Parker finally fell asleep at 8:15am after going to bed at midnight and being awake from 3am-4am and 5am-8am. Cole is playing with his trains and I'm starting to get a headache from the noise of the small electric motors.
Parker has improved his sitting skills this week. He will now sit unsupported and play with his toys for up to thirty minutes. He is so cute and proud of himself. We are pretty sure that getting him off a bottle will be as simple as offering something better than formula in a cup since he prefers to drink out of anything other than a bottle. He does, however refuse to hold his own bottle because he wants to be held while eating. He is also getting better at his one arm army crawl. His left arm is extended and his right arm is kept under his body and he pivots over it pulling himself with the left.
