We're six days from our Tucson departure. In mid-July we finally decided on ASU & Chandler. We found a house up there and are excited to move. Our apartment looks like a warehouse, but we're getting there. Cole is excited to have a backyard. We're excited to not have downstairs neighbors for the boys to disturb.
The house in Las Vegas finally closed last week, so we apologize to the Owens for having them move out when we did. We would have preferred them to be in the house for the last two months, and I'm sure they'd have preferred it as well.
We've now been in Tucson for almost two weeks. The ward here has certainly been a huge help. With the help of a man from our new ward (now our home teacher) I loaded all our stuff from Las Vegas last Friday and got it all down here. Now we have a whole lot more stuff than we know what to do with and will soon start becoming good friends with Craigslist. The boys love all the space, as does Mindy and the cats.
It is certainly hotter here. The boys miss the pool, and I miss the view from the balcony. Class is starting soon, so I need to go. Another night of Organizational Behavior to help me further realize how completely dysfunctional my current employer is.
